Be an Urbanite Ambassador
Urbanite has teamed up with SocialToaster for an interactive ambassador experience!
Urbanite ambassadors are fans of the magazine who share the latest articles and events from Urbanite using social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
Signing up to be an Urbanite ambassador is easy. Here’s how it works:
1. Click on the “Connect Now” button and enter your information.2. Choose your preferred social networks.
3. Then, choose the type of Urbanite content you want to share on those networks. After you sign up, a status update will post to your social networks telling your friends that you’ve volunteered to be an Urbanite ambassador.
4. After that first post, you will receive an e-mail when we have new content for you to share. Click “Yes” in the e-mail to share Urbanite content. With your approval, the content automatically posts to your networks right from your e-mail—you never even have to log in to your social networks!

How to Earn Points and Win Prizes
Don’t MissWhen you sign up to be an Urbanite ambassador, you automatically become eligible to participate in our prize program. You get ten (10) points just for signing up!
The Scene
When you sign up, you’ll be asked to pick which social networks you want to use. You receive one (1) point for every social network you choose (i.e. Facebook = 1 point; Twitter = 1 point).
What You’re Saying
Every time you share Urbanite articles or events, you earn twenty (20) points!
The Goods
For each new person that visits Urbanite’s website from your personal social network (e.g., via an Urbanite link you post to your Facebook page), you earn ten (10) points.
We’re awarding a prize at the end of each month to the Urbanite ambassador who participates the most! The Urbanite ambassador leaderboard is zeroed out and points accumulation restarts on the first day of each month. In the event of a tie, Urbanite will randomly draw a winner from the co-leaders. During the first two (2) weeks of the Urbanite ambassador launch, every person who signs up to be an ambassador and shares at least one link will also be entered to win a $50 gift certificate to Talara!
So: the more you share, the more points you score, the better your chances for winning great prizes. Check back often to see where you stand on our leaderboard!
